Yes, I love frogs, but do you know why I love frogs? Because I find Rain Forests fascinating and frogs, such as the red eye tree frog (my personal favorite), live in tropical rain forests.

Wednesday-Traveling to the Nature Reserve

Wednesday we decided to check out a Nature Reserve. On our way there we made a few stops. The first stop, begin the Jerky Cache. We were trying to find a coffee shop to stop at but we ended up at the Jerky Cache where we bought 3 kinds of exotic game jerky. I didn't actually try any of it, so I can't tell you how they were.

Then we went to the Peanut Farm for lunch. We were able to sit by the open windows and watch the river out back. We saw a couple of red salmon in the river.

Next we headed out of town towards the Nature Reserve. On our way we stopped by the Indian Valley Gold Mine.

Unbeknownst to me, Michele took this picture. I sure do look mad. :) I think I was just in the middle of shivering from the cold. :) This was our one cold and rainy day.
