Yes, I love frogs, but do you know why I love frogs? Because I find Rain Forests fascinating and frogs, such as the red eye tree frog (my personal favorite), live in tropical rain forests.

Tuesday-More Glacier Trekking

Some of the sights:

There were so many pretty formations on this glacier. Here is a waterfall. We also found this great spot filled with rivers and ice formations, but a picture just doesn't show it. Our guide, Mikey K., was SO excited about the new place we had found. The glacier is always changing, and it was the first time he'd been able to get down there that year.

The scary part was leaving this area. We had to climb down a very narrow ledge. I'm not a big fan of heights so I was pretty much freaking out! :) The second scariest part was when we had to use our toe picks to climb up a small hill. We had to basically sink our toe pick in and throw ourselves at the ice. It was not a very secure feeling. :)

At the bottom there was a cool little lake. Here's our shadow picture on the lake. I can't post the actual picture of the four of us here, but if you ask me about it I might show it to you off the record depending on who you are. :)

Here are some other pretty sights:

These are awesome pictures of the glacier. My question is, Kelley, were you cold? The close up of you with your helmet looks as if you are really cold! Why no coats or thermals at all?
