Yes, I love frogs, but do you know why I love frogs? Because I find Rain Forests fascinating and frogs, such as the red eye tree frog (my personal favorite), live in tropical rain forests.

Day 4 - Travelling and sites along the way

Today we headed back to Seattle. On our way we stopped by a lavendar field in Sequim (pronounced squim). Then we stopped by Dungeness Spit, and then we took the ferry back to Seattle. In Seattle we got settled into our hotel room and then we headed over to Agua Verde for kayaking and food. We kayaked Lake Union. It was fun, but the water was a little choppy due to the heavy boat traffic. I didn't get any pictures of kayaking. I didn't really want my camera to fall into Lake Union. :)

There were butterflies and bees all over the place. I'm not too fond of insects that buzz. :)

Dungeness Spit...the place where dungeness crab come from. Also the place where we saw a bald eagle (look really carefully at the post just right of the building in the second picture) and the place where Dave decided to wade out into the nasty muck.

That's a great picture of a bald eagle. It is unusual to be able to get that close to one in the wild.

Yeah, and it was sitting there the whole time we were there. It never budged.
