Punch Bowl National Memorial Cemetary

Here are some more pics from Punch Bowl.





There were a number of maps on the wall showing the battles in the Pacific. I found the statement on this map particularly interesting. Though I did have to look up the word recrudescence. :)



This was the view of Honolulu from Punch Bowl. In the first picture you will see Diamond Head off in the background to the left. In the second pictures you will see the state capital building right in hte center. It is a very interesting looking building.
