Friday Morning-Eagle River Nature Center

Friday morning we went to the Eagle River Nature Center and walked one of their self guided trails. We had a beautiful view of the mountains and the rivers created by glacier run off. Those rivers are very silty because of all the rock. We also saw all kinds of work done by beavers, but no actual beavers were on the trail.

Every now and then the trail that we walked on would be covered with water because of the work of beavers, so the park would put planks out to walk on.


At one point on the trail, it was completely covered and there were no planks and no way around, so we had to take our socks and shoes off and wade. That sure was cold! Its all glacier run off, so its quite chilly. :)


Another point of interest: there was a moose sitting right off the trail! Can you see it?
