Our Whirlwind DC Trip
Friday we drove Kevin back to DC. We got there around 7, checked into our hotel, and then headed down to the sculpture garden to catch the end of their Friday night jazz in the garden.

Saturday we spent all day on the mall. We started with the planetarium in the Air and Space Museum. Then we went to the Native American Museum for lunch. After that we headed over to the botanical gardens. They were really pretty.

After the botanical gardens we walked around a cultural festival for a while.

Next we went to see the Constitution in the National Archives building. They allowed pictures, as long as you didn't use flash, thus the dark pictures.

Finally, we went to Union Station for dinner and then back to The Museum of Natural History to watch Night at the Museum in the imax.

Sunday we went to church with Kevin, walked to lunch, made a "quick" stop at Riverby Books, and then headed home. Oh yeah, on the way home we made another "quick" stop at the outlets in PA. We got home about 2AM. :) So now, Kevin's yellow car is home with us. Anyone want to buy a nice little 89 yellow Honda Prelude? :)

We were looking at your pictures and Lauren's sitting there pointing at you saying, "Saw her loooong time ago." Just thought I'd let you know she still knows who you are.

ah...don't tempt me! i'm carless right now, and (except for the flippy-up headlights, which my accord had as well), i always have liked that yellow honda prelude!
the "quick" stops crack me up, and the garden / night jazz sounds incredible. glad you were able to go.
