Those pictures are gorgeous! Where is this festival? We just may have to file this idea away for some future furlough. Our whole family would love it!

Ok. Am I not the densest "American" fan in the world or what?! When I saw the "USA" one with the flag, I was like, "Hmm. I wonder what "SA" stands for. I wonder if it's like San Antonio or something." Then, when I looked again, I could see the edge of the "U". DUH! Unfortunately, I'm sad to say that between my seeing & revelation was about 5 hours. Boy, am I pathetic. Actually, this further confirms my belief that I was supposed to be a blond. :)

Alice-its in Howell, MI although I also hear that Saginaw has one. Howell puts on this festival every year about this time. They launch the balloons (the highlight), they also have sky divers, a craft fair, a medieval village which has kids activities, etc. Its a really neat festival.
Sus-You crack me up! :) I TRIED to get the U in the USA, but I absolutely couldn't do it! The stinking balloon just wouldn't turn around for me! :) (4:54 PM)
