Planting Trees

This is a picture of my partner teachers and me at our tree planting ceremony. This was the second year that we participated in the Rooting for the Rouge Service Learning Project. I have really enjoyed doing this project with the kids. They learn all about trees and how they help the community and then they finish the project by planting trees. I wish I could post more pictures, but I'm not supposed to put student pics on the internet, so alas no pictures. We planted 4 trees this year, 2 tulip and 2 maple.
