Wednesday in DC-Presidential Memorials

Wednesday we got up very early (6:30am!) and headed out to walk the city. We walked past the back of the white house and then back to the Washington Memorial.



From the Washington Memorial we walked down this pretty tree covered path to the Lincoln Memorial.





I attempted to do the self portrait shot like Michele does, but I did not do a very good job of it. My first shot, I forgot the zoom was on. That picture is not making it onto my blog. :) In this shot my head is covering the memorial. Oh well. I give up. Michele is the queen! She can keep her position. :)
